Policies For Our Bed & Breakfast
Breakfast at the Guesthouse - Continental Breakfast is offered between 8:00AM- 10:00AM. It consists of a selection of coffees and teas, orange juice, fresh fruits (seasonally) (include strawberries, blueberries and bananas), yogurt, granola, cereals, bagels, cream cheese and various jams. You are welcome to enjoy it in any of the common areas, on the front or rear patios or in your room.
Breakfast is not included at the Prince Albert (PA) Heritage House or the Prince Albert (PA) Rose Apartments.
The PA Guest House Address is 164 Commercial Street, The PA Heritage House is 7 Center Street and the PA Rose Apartments is 5 Center Street. All are located in Provincetown MA.
We want everyone to fully enjoy their stay so please keep your voice level and electronic devices at a low level to ensure they are appropriate for the time of day or night and your location. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
Glass is not allowed on the front or back patios; we'll provide plastic cups as alternative.
Lost room keys OR room keys that are not returned at check out will be charged $25/key
The Prince Albert Guest House property is adults only. No guests under the age of 18 are allowed.
Children are allowed at the PA Heritage House and the PA Rose Apartments.
Rates for the inn are based on up to two person occupancy with only one bed in each room (Queen or King). Occupancy pricing varies at the PA Heritage House and the PA Rose Apartments depending on the Season.
Pets are not allowed without the express consent of management prior to your stay and this must be acknowledged in your reservation. If approved, you will be assessed a $35 fee /day per pet which is in addition to the daily occupancy rate. Pet fees are capped at $150 per pet for stays of 5 days or longer. Any damage is your full responsibility & will be billed to your credit card. The number of pets is subject to their size, shedding characteristics and disposition. If your pet makes a disturbance you may be asked to leave immediately forfeiting the full cost of your stay.
Please bring any issues you may have to the attention of the Innkeeper or our staff at once so that we can happily accommodate you. You are never an imposition as our guest.... let us know what you need!
We offer private self parking for the guests of the guesthouse. The cost is $15 to $25/night ($$ is subject to change depending on the season) in our private parking lot at 26 Winthrop Street; we have an unloading zone in front of the guesthouse. If you choose to drive you will pull up to our inn first to get checked-in and unload your luggage; we will give you a parking pass with your assigned spot#. We consider Provincetown, and our parking facilities, to be very safe but we are not responsible for damage of any kind to you, your vehicle or your property. Parking is included onsite at our other properties. We include 4 parking spots at The PA Heritage House in your reservation. We include 1 parking spot at the PA Rose Apartments in your reservation. Additional spots are available in the private guesthouse lot at 26 Winthrop street at the rates above. They must be reserved in advance.
Any additional fees for ancillary items /special requested items (i.e., flowers, chocolates or other) requested during your stay will be charged to your credit card used for your deposit unless you request otherwise at the time of the request.
This is a privately owned property and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone; guests are subject to the guidelines set forth by management to ensure everyone is able to enjoy their stay with us (see cancellation policy).
Minimum lengths of stay requirements may be applicable. These are outlined on our website and booking engine if applicable.
Cancellation Policy
You are encouraged to buy Trip Insurance to protect the investment in your trip. You should include the full cost of your stay with us and your transportation into and out of Provincetown (flight, car, ferry). The decision to buy insurance, and from whom, is your choice. You may for your convenience buy trip protection directly with your reservation. The protection is through a thrid company and all claims should be addressed to that company. You may cancel your reservation for a full refund minus a 5% cancellation fee on any deposits made up to 90 days before your check-in date. Once you pass the 90-day threshold, the reservation is nonrefundable. If you make the reservation within the 90-day period, the reservation is non refundable. We will open the room or property up and try to sell it again for you. If we can, we will reimburse you what we collect up to your original reservation total for the days we can rent (we do not double dip, but reselling the room is not guaranteed). We may at our discretion, offer a Guest a future "courtesy stay" (valid until the end of the current calendar year). There are no refunds for shortened stays or for early departures, whether we ask you to depart, or you choose to depart (trip insurance recommended as noted above). Second time cancellations of rescheduled stays will forfeit their monies paid or "courtesy stay" value up to full cost of stay based on date of cancellation as noted above.
Check-In/Out Times
Check-In at the inn: Begins at 2:30PM. After 5PM requires a late check in so please advise in advance or as early as possible on your day of arrival if you get delayed!
Check-In at the PA Heritage House and PA Rose Apartments: 4:00PM or later. If you arrive in town early please join us at the inn where you may park your vehicle and use our facilities while we hold your bags until the property is ready. Early check-in is subject to availability and will be confirmed on the day before arrival if possible.
Check-Out at the inn is by 11:00AM (if parked we ask to move your car by 10:45). We are not able to offer a late check-out. We are more than happy to hold your bags for you and you may use our facilities until you leave town later in the day.
Check-out at the PA Heritage House and the PA Rose Apartments is by 10 am. We are not able to offer a late check-out. We are more than happy to hold your bags for you at the guesthouse and you may use our facilities there until you leave town later in the day.
We look forward to your visit and want you to know that we will do everything possible to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. If you desire any special items such as flowers or champagne in your room upon arrival, we request that you notify us at least one week in advance, if possible.
